no specific fandom/ship. this was inspired by a VN I just played but it can just be read as short horror.

He must’ve passed out after the fourth beer. The campfire was dead, island silent except for the waves. Clouds covered the moon, leaving him blind, but a heavy iron stench sent chills through him.

He croaked a name but no one answered. Near his left hand, the soil was wet and unusually warm, sticky when he rubbed his fingers together.

Oh god. He had to get help. He needed to—

Something rough bound his ankles. He struggled to crawl, but a hand pressed his lower back.

“Shh,” someone whispered in his ear. “It’s just us now. Everyone else is asleep.”
