The Yellow Line

This universe is from a passion project I’ve worked on, in some form, for more than half of my life. It centers around descendants of a struggling Earth colony, with a love story I didn’t intend stuck in the middle. I dreamed up the original MC and antagonist on an airplane ride to Mexico days shy of my eighteenth birthday. Over the years, I’ve refined just about every detail except for a few character names. Today, the antagonist is the main character, the original MC is a side character, and I’m still poking at the draft.

I’d like to share the book itself here eventually, since I don’t want to subject it to trad publishing. I’m just too close to it. For now, this page contains some short in-universe stuff narrated by characters other than the MC.

The Demon Tree is technically an AU of this universe and features the love interest’s sister and future girlfriend. Rose doesn’t appear in TYL but is referenced. Kay is in the story, though!
